This edition of APN seeks to explore various aspects of this specialty, including patient selection, perioperative care, relevant anatomy, surgical techniques, management of potential complications, and other critical considerations unique to functional neurosurgery in children. These procedures are essential for treating conditions such as epilepsy, movement disorders, spasticity, and dystonia, among others. We look forward to your valuable contribution to this important discussion. </p> <p><em>Archives of Pediatric Neurosurgery </em>welcomes the submission of manuscripts in these and other areas.
