Endoscopic approach for resection of a third ventricle choroid plexus cyst

Abstract

A 5 months-old boy presented with sudden irritability, vomiting, drowsiness. Child recovery spontaneous and neurological examination was unremarkable Head magnetic resonance scans revealed a third ventricle cyst compatible with choroid plexus cyst. The boy underwent a ventricular endoscopy with total resection of a choroid plexus cyst confirmed by pathological examination. Patient evolved with no neurological deficits.
